Too much autocross has glazed the stock commuter-spec rotors on my MR2. What are the best “big brake” kits for such a car? I autocross it a lot, but it’s also a daily.

Pads glaze, not rotors. Autocross is not particularly hard on brakes.
There aren’t big differences in rotors and you don’t need bigger rotors for autox.
Pads can be an issue if you have longer courses and use street pads. I would suggest looking at pads first. For autox and daily driving, I like StopTech pads (they don’t work for the track).
For occasional track driving and regular autox, I’d recommend the Hawk Street/Race or Ferodo DS2500.
If you are going to the track, GLoc makes a bunch of great compounds but they usually dust and make more noise than a more street oriented pad.

Are you in street class? Do you want to be?

If you do go for a big-brake kit, check pad availability. My options are extremely limited, and they don't include a single compound that doesn't squeel like a stuck pig. Fine for track use, but like you I also daily the car and it gets a bit annoying. Definitely wouldn't choose my brake kit again if I could do it over.

Stock 93+ turbo brakes would be a good budget upgrade. But honestly just a set of parts store rotors with good pads and fluid will make a huge difference. Porterfield HP R4S are fantastic street/autox pads.

Already firmly in Street Touring with the coilover setup and upsized wheels. Brakes are “allowable mods” within STS, but my real concern is just finding a daily-able brake setup that won’t be worn out prematurely by autoX.
